NORWALK — The city is seeking to reduce the speed limits from the state on several streets off Connecticut Avenue in anticipation of the new Wegmans.
“Keeler Avenue… is getting significant upgrades due to the Wegmans that’s going in where the MBI used to be,” said Kyle Benjamin, Norwalk’s traffic analyst, during the Traffic Authority meeting last Monday. “Keeler Avenue was the start of this but as we were in the neighborhood we decided it was good to ask for all the streets within this neighborhood to be reduced from 30 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour due to either improvements we’ve made in the past or improvements we plan on doing.”
